A native of Raton, New Mexico, Jaime has had a love for photography as early as 10 years old. She received her first camera, a Polaroid 110 pocket camera, as a Christmas gift as a young girl. She remembers taking the film down to her local film developer and waiting for what seemed like weeks before the pictures camera back to view. This joy of discovery and mystery cultivated a life-long love for photography.
Our Story
After being inspired by her son's love for photography and championing his artistic works, Jaime found her passion for photography after many years away from the craft. As a voracious learner, Jaime honed her photography skills at Clayton State University where she concentrated in Digital Photography.
Beginning with friends and family, she found her niche in maternity and newborn photography. She has also honed her craft through Hello Little Education and The School of Photography.
Falling in love with new born photography she opened J Lyn Photography in 2020 and has been brightening the lives of her clients ever since.
